School assembly works as an unifying force. Students feel the school as an organized group and every student realizes that he is part of the school community. Each and every student is given the opportunity to address the assembly so that they may develop public speaking skills. Activities such as presenting a “thought for the day”, reading newspaper headlines, giving questions and answers related to general knowledge all take place in school assemblies.
